I ran across this tag over at Reading Every Night and thought it looked like fun. There are so many beautiful book covers in such varied colors. I’ve been guilty of buying a book by the strength of it’s cover alone and, admittedly, eye catching color combinations certainly play a roll in that. Here are some covers of books I have read that make up the rainbow!
Rules:
- It must be the dominant colour of the cover not the spine!
- If you do not own a book of a certain colour, just choose one that has the colour on it somewhere.
- It has to be a book you own and/or has to be the exact edition you read (e.g. there are two different covers for Me Before You, you would choose the one you read).
- Tag some people to do it! Whether they be Bloggers, Bookstagrammers or BookTubers.

Freedom’s Ransom (Catteni #4) by Anne McCaffrey
Blue
Silent in the Sanctuary by Deanna Raybourn

That is it for the Rainbow Book Tag! It was actually pretty difficult to find the orange and pink covers. Red, black, and white gave me plenty of options! If you want to do this tag, please do, just toss your link to it in the comments here so I can check it out. Have a beautiful day, everyone!
Also, toss me a follow over on Goodreads. I’d love to see what everyone is reading!
This tag looks like so much fun! I AM SO doing it on my blog! I’m sure it will be difficult but it shall be worth the pain! Great picks!

Thanks, Leeve! Good luck finding a book with an orange cover. Took me forever of digging through books I’d read to find one. I wonder why more covers aren’t orange. It is so eye catching!

I’m not sure I have read a book with an orange cover, but let’s see how this goes! Hopefully I’ll find something after going through my read list on goodreads, haha. And true, orange is such a “LOOK AT ME AND BUY ME” color!

Oh great picks for this tag, I really loved seeing what covers you came up with for the different colours. I LOVED The Song Rising, it’s an all-time favourite of mine, and so is the Shades of Magic series actually. I even own the US editions too because I just couldn’t resist.
Again great picks, these are all gorgeous covers! 😀

I want the European editions of Shades of Magic just because both sets are so beautiful. A whole shelf of Schwab, I can get on board with that.
The Song Rising and that entire series so far are some of the best books I have ever read. She has one coming out within the next year that isn’t from the series, I think it is a high fantasy, that also has some great potential. Really can’t wait to get back to Jax and company though…

I have both sets, I just couldn’t resist because I got the UK editions first and loved the US ones enough that I needed them on my bookshelves. If she keeps writing enough books eventually we’ll have a whole shelf just for Schwab! 😀
Yes I’m really excited for her next book, even if it’s not The Bone Season it’s still Samantha Shannon so I reckon it’ll be amazing! 🙂
