Facts About Me
- I have lived in 8 different cities across 6 different US states so far in life. It is always interesting picking up and moving, and a little exciting, but I’m certainly hoping to stay put for a while this time. Most of those moves have been in the last five years and I am just so tired.
- I’m a vegetarian at heart. I eat meat mostly because my husband does and it is easier to just cook one meal than make two separate ones. When I have the opportunity, such as when he is away, I do forgo meat. I don’t like cooking it, I don’t like touching it, and I’m not all that fond of the texture while chewing it.
- I can play the bassoon.
I’m certainly not fantastic at it but I absolutely love it. Such a unique sound. I started playing in middle school because I wanted to try a different kind of instrument and ended up joining the community band to continue playing after high school.
- My fondest dream is to become a published author. I’m currently working on a middle grade fantasy novel which has taken over my imagination and have two other WIPs (one adult fantasy, one women’s fiction) sitting on the back burner.
- If I had to eat only one type of food for the rest of eternity I would choose tacos. I love tacos. You can put almost ANYTHING in a delicious little tortilla and call it a taco. Mankind’s most perfect food. Yumyumyum.
- Just a weird little tidbit, but, I prefer secondary colors to primary colors. Red, blue, and yellow are just not my thing. Green, orange, and purple are the way to go.
- My latest obsession is watching streamers on Twitch. If you don’t know what that means, people play video games (and do other things) over live video and you watch. That simple. My husband got me watching Crayator on there who plays a lot of Overwatch and he is absolutely more entertaining than most any cable program.
Ta-da! There are seven things about myself I bet you all didn’t know. I hope that you all have a lovely day.
That’s so cool that you play bassoon! I played violin all throughout middle school and high school but always secretly wished that I could play a wind instrument as well. They look so fun to play! 🙂

I always enjoyed the wind instruments. At one point I owned a trumpet, trombone, bassoon, saxophone, and piano. Since then the trumpet and sax have found new homes but I can never part with the rest. Just something satisfying about making music, isn’t there?

Definitely! I miss playing the violin so much… I don’t have much time to do it in college, unfortunately 😦

I’m going to be completely honest here and just say – I clicked this post this morning because of the taco. 100% thinking “Is it acceptable to have tacos for breakfast? Tacos sound good.”
Twitch is so much fun. I love streaming on it to, although I really need a headset because verballess streaming is NOT entertaining, haha.

Tacos are always acceptable. Could even toss in some scrambled eggs and pretend they are breakfast tacos. There are no wrong taco choices.
I’ve considered doing some streaming myself because I find my own ineptitude at video games hilarious. Others could watch me wipe a raid and roll their eyes. Haha.

See, at least you’re playing proper games. The last thing I streamed was LEGO Worlds, which is undeniably entertaining for me. Maybe less so for other people?
OMG, speaking of breakfast tacos, this place next to my work does these INCREDIBLE eggchiladas with eggs, cheese, peppers & onions, and hot sauce in a tortilla and now I’m seriously hungry……

You need an eggchilada. Go now. I might make one for lunch. That sounds sssooo good.
Lego Worlds can be amazing! Why not stream it? There is much potential for hilarity there.

There’s mostly a lot of getting lost in caves, TBH. And then falling from the sky with an umbrella because I don’t like getting lost in caves….
Aaaah, the irony being that I’m working from home today and the eggchiladas are in a different stateeeee. #lifeishard

I loved reading your facts! Tacos are the best, I’ve always loved all mexican food. That’s also so cool you can play the bassoon, although I don’t know it I’ve ever heard it before!
