Ah, February. The Tuesday of months. When the year has just started and you aren’t entirely sure how it is going yet and it never stops raining. I intensely dislike February. It is also tax season which just gives you that mild panic feeling in the pit of your stomach for no good reason. February can bugger off. Outside of my personal feelings towards it, I found myself in a bit of a reading slump this month so I did not have nearly as many reviews as usual. Here are the posts that Did find their way onto the blog this month.

Writing
This month I got started on the first draft of my as yet unnamed fantasy story. It isn’t going quite the direction that I wanted it to but that isn’t surprising. That is why I don’t set strict outlines for my writing because I know the story is going to change and evolve as I write it and then that whole outline will go out of the window. But, I’ve already destroyed my main character, Emery’s, life which was fun. Mwahaha!
Personal Life
Last month I showed you all a picture of my new puppy, Poe. He came into our family after our dog, Patrick, passed away of cancer. Poe has grown SO much in the last month. When we got him he weighed around 17 lbs and he is now nearly 35lbs!
Look at that good boy. He is expected to grow to be roughly 80lbs as an adult. I can’t wait. I miss going for long walks on the town’s hiking trail but won’t go without a big woofer with me.
That is all from Literary Weaponry this month! What have you all been up to?
Your puppy is so cute!!!! I want to read Invictus one of these days.

Isn’t he adorable? And he is clumsy which somehow makes him even cuter. And I would recommend Invictus as an audiobook. The narrator isn’t perfect but he certainly holds your attention.

Amazing wrap up, love! And what a cute pupper! Sending you all the love and light for Patrick, though. I hope you have an amazing March and happy reading! 💘xx

Look at him! It looks like he was so itty bitty for like 5 minutes lol. He’s adorable 🙂 I sadly DNF’d Invictus last year but I’m getting more interested in Ace of Shades since more people are talking about it 🙂

Everyone seems to be talking about Ace of Shades, don’t they? I hope you get more out of it than I did. Those characters left something to be desired…

Me too. I still have to read her first one, but I have a feeling I’ll enjoy them at least 🙂

Poe looks absolutely adorable!!! Aren’t you sort of dreading the time he grows older and bigger, though? Puppies are just so cute. But I love all dogs of all shapes, sizes and ages, so I’m not complaining if you share more dog photos! ❤

Puppies are adorable, can’t deny that. I am looking forward to him growing up though. Can’t take him anywhere in the car because right now he gets car sick, can’t leave the house for more than a couple hours at a time, can’t go for long walks and I miss that terribly. We live somewhere with amazing hiking trails but I won’t go without a big dog with me because you never know who and what you’ll find. Enjoying his puppy time, though. It’s like a kid, right? The young and cute part only happens once.

Ah, that’s so true! Yeah, sometimes ever since my parents got a dog, I feel like they have another child to replace me since I’m not living at home anymore 😀
