WWW Wednesday – June 13

WWW Wednesday is a meme hosted by Sam at Taking on a World of Words and was formerly hosted by A Daily Rhythm. It is open for anyone to participate, even without a blog you can comment on Sam’s post with your own answers. It is a great way to share what you’ve been reading! All you have to do is answer three questions and share a link to your blog in the comments section of Sam’s blog.

The three Ws are:

What are you currently reading?

What did you recently finish reading?

What do you think you’ll read next?

What are you currently reading?

I’d rather die on an adventure than live standing still.”

A Darker Shade of Magic by V.E. Schwab. Have I read this book before? Absolutely. I have read it a couple of times…bbbuuuutttt I haven’t read it as audio! Oh yeah, I hopped on that. I started on this on my run and I love the narrator. I was a little hesitant at first but I’m enjoying it so far. I’m interested to see how the fellow narrating voices Lila and will hopefully get to that part today.

What did you recently finish reading?

The Ministry of Curiosities series by C.J. Archer. So, yeah, I gobbled up these four books in the series in just a couple of days. They are all fairly short, usually 300 pages or less, but all utterly enjoyable in their own way. We follow a young woman of the Victorian era who discovers that she is a necromancer as she is taken in by the Ministry of Curiosities. They investigate crimes and murders committed by supernatural beings such as werewolves, vampires, and evil scientists. Really, it is just a fun series and I have enjoyed every book in it so far.

What do you think you’ll read next?

I think once I’m done with my current audio that I am going to set aside reading for a few days. I feel a slump coming on and would rather recharge my batteries for a couple of days than let the slump get a good grip on me. Better to head it off at the pass.

I hope everyone is having a lovely day and please feel free to leave a link to your own WWW Wednesday in the comments. Happy reading!
