Hello again! I love getting tagged to do these bookish things. I think it is a lot of fun and for most of them you really have to think or dig through your TBR to find a book that fits for you. In this case, digging is exactly what I had to do. Little did I know that finding a book starting with ‘Y’ would be so tough?
Thank you so much Jeanna @ Bookmark Your Thoughts for tagging me!
RULES
1. Spell out your blog’s name
2. Find a book from your TBR that begins with each letter. Note: you cannot ADD to your TBR to complete this challenge – the books must already be on your Goodread’s TBR
3. Have fun!
L – The Lost Queen (The Lost Queen Trilogy #1) by Signe Pike
I – Illuminae (The Illuminae Files #1) by Amie Kaufman and Jay Kristoff
T – A Time of Dread (Of Blood and Bone #1) by John Gwynne
E – Egyptian Enigma (Dr Pimms, Intermillennial Sleuth #3) by L.J.M. Owen
R – Rule (Rule #1) by Ellen Goodlett
A – An Ember in the Ashes (Ember Quartet #1) by Sabaa Tahir
R – Ruin of Stars (Mask of Shadows #2) by Linsey Miller
Y – The Confessions of Young Nero (Nero #1) by Margaret George (I didn’t have one that started with a Y, this was as close as I could get)
W – The Wicked King (The Folk of the Air #2) by Holly Black
E – Escaping from Houdini (Stalking Jack the Ripper #3) by Kerri Maniscalco
A – Archenemies (Renegades #2) by Marissa Meyer
P – The Priory of the Orange Tree by Samantha Shannon
O – Olivia Twist by Lorie Langdon
N – The Name of the Wind (The Kingkiller Chronicle #1) by Patrick Rothfuss
R – A Reaper at the Gates (An Ember in the Ashes #3) by Sabaa Tahir
Y – Bryant & May and the Burning Man (Bryant and May #12) by Christopher Fowler (Y is tough! This title had the most amount of Ys in it)
Wow! Finding titles with Y was not easy. Oddly, neither was the N which surprised me. Not sure if there aren’t a lot of titles starting with N or if I just don’t have many on my TBR. Either way, I thought this tag was really fun. I enjoyed digging around my list trying to find the right book for each letter.
If anyone wants to do this, please feel free to tag yourself!
Wonderful job! It’s harder than it seems ha-ha! I also had a hard time with “Y” and I only have one in my blog name. I don’t think I’ve read ANY of these, but some of them are on my TBR list as well 🙂
