Top Ten Tuesday – Series I Have Put Hold On

ttt-big2

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl. Each week they provide a topic and you are free to use that topic and/or variations of that topic to make your top ten list. You don’t have to do all ten. Instead you can do three, five, fifteen, whatever you want. A full list of the weekly themes can be found here.

This week’s theme is Series I’ve Given Up On/Don’t Plan to Finish. Since that is something I’ve talked about multiple times in the past, I’m going to switch it a little. Instead, here is Series I Have Put Hold On (but still plan to finish).

All of these books are part of a series I picked up or started on and haven’t continued. However, I still plan to continue reading them at some point in the future. I feel bad because Iron Gold has been sitting on the shelf in my living room since release day but I just haven’t had the urge to read it. Possibly because it is the size of a house. Despite that, I’m still interested and know I will continue on with all of these books at some point in the future.

    1. I’ve been hearing a lot that Gemina is better. That is giving me a bit of a push to finish Illuminae and move on to the next book. It isn’t like Illuminae is bad, just think I started reading it at a bad time. Hopefully get the urge to pick it back up soon.

    1. I’ve read the first couple chapter probably three times but I can’t seem to get beyond that. I’m not sure what it is. Loved the first three books but Morning Star wrapped things up very well so I wasn’t yearning to know more, if that makes sense. One of these days I will push through to the rest.

  1. I put down Illuminae right when it first came out about halfway through, despite having a good chunk where I refused to put the book down. My friend recommended the audio book since you get the cool space sound effects so I might try that. I also put down My Lady Jane because I don’t think the humor worked for me…awesome list!
