WWW Wednesday is a meme hosted by Sam at Taking on a World of Words and was formerly hosted by A Daily Rhythm. It is open for anyone to participate, even without a blog you can comment on Sam’s post with your own answers. It is a great way to share what you’ve been reading! All you have to do is answer three questions and share a link to your blog in the comments section of Sam’s blog.
The three Ws are:
What are you currently reading?
What did you recently finish reading?
What do you think you’ll read next?
What are you currently reading?
“Strange how monsters can reach from beyond the grave, as potent in death as they were in life.”
A Reaper at the Gates (An Ember in the Ashes #3) by Sabaa Tahir . I am FINALLY getting to read this book. I had tried it as audio and it didn’t really work for me but got my hands on a hard copy at last. I love being back with these characters, in this world, and can’t wait to see what Tahir has in store.
“Are you you without your memories? If not, who do you become?”
Invictus by Ryan Graudin. Why, yes, I am reading this again! How kind of you to notice. When I first read this book back in February I fell in love and have legitimately been thinking about it ever since. Nothing could be done but I read it again. Graudin put together such a magnificent story, it really sucks in my imagination.
What did you recently finish reading?
“That the battles are usually in her head does not lessen the bravery of it. The hardest ones always are.”
Jackaby (Jackaby #1) by William Ritter and Beastly Bones (Jackaby #2) by William Ritter
I read these two books back to back and loved them both. Jackaby certainly wasn’t what I was expecting when I picked up this series but the story struck a chord with me anyway. It is a lot more fantastical and paranormal than I expected but the characters are interesting, the who-done-it isn’t obvious, and they are quick and easy reads. Very enjoyable.
What do you think you’ll read next?
Oh for goodness sake, I don’t know. I am such a mood reader. What I may want to pick up next today may not be what I want to read tomorrow so who knows.
Beautiful books on your Tbr 📖😛❤

I won a copy! Got super excited. Ran out to pick it up at 8pm with a four year old in tow because I NEEDED IT. I hope you love it when you get it.

Yeah I could certainly read Invictus again. It’s such a great book. I do want to read Wolf by Wolf though before I start ‘re reading her books.

I have Wolf by Wolf on my shelf but haven’t picked it up yet. Invictus was just too strong a draw. I had seriously been thinking about it for months and just had to read it again. Couldn’t be helped. My health and sanity were at risk if I didn’t.
