Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl. Each week they provide a topic and you are free to use that topic and/or variations of that topic to make your top ten list. You don’t have to do all ten. Instead you can do three, five, fifteen, whatever you want. A full list of the weekly themes can be found here.
I know, I know, Books I’m Most Looking Forward To is not the topic for today. Today’s topic is Favorite Book Blogs/Bookish Websites. But, I didn’t feel like it. That simple. I didn’t want to shout “Go look at these blogs!” like it was some kind of book blog popularity contest. Not my cup of tea. So, I did my own thing.
Kingdom of Ash (Throne of Glass #7) by Sarah J. Maas – Yes, yes, I know, I have ragged on every single book in the series. At this point I am invested in these darn characters and I want to know what happens in the end. We all know no one important is going to die, that isn’t Maas’s style, but I’m sure I’ll be holding my breath the whole way through to make sure my dears Dorian and Manon have a happy ending. October 23
Ruin of Stars (Mask of Shadows #2) by Linsey Miller – I have been looking forward to this book for ages. After I read Mask of Shadows in 2017, I needed to know more about Sal and their story as they sought revenge. I do have the ARC of this book and hope to wrap up my reading of it soon. August 28
Muse of Nightmares (Strange the Dreamer #2) by Laini Taylor – Gimme. Gimmegimmegimme. When I read Strange the Dreamer I completely fell in love. The characters were so alive, the story so enthralling, and the writing superb. As soon as this book is released I am going to hop over to Audible and download it. I read the first book as audio and want to continue because the narrator was magnificent. October 2
Archenemies (Renegades #2) by Marissa Meyer – Alright, so I wasn’t over the moon about Meyer’s Renegades book. It may not have been my favorite but I still enjoyed it and am looking forward to finding out what happens next to Nova and Adrian. Here is to hoping that Adrian gets his head out of his backside and acts like an intelligent human being.
Evermore (Everless #2) by Sara Holland – When I read Everless this past January I was engrossed with the story that Holland had presented to us. At the end of that book we got left on a cliffhanger and I’m anxious to return to that world and watch as Jules continues her path of discovery and vengeance. Not going to lie, I’m looking forward to the romance that had started budding in Everless as well. December 31 (US) January 3 (UK)
The Wicked King (The Folk of the Air #2) by Holly Black – Hello there, I am caught up on the hype train for this book. Toot toot! Look, I was not that impressed with The Cruel Prince. It was a mediocre read at best. From the description of this installment and the early reviews I’ve been seeing it seems like this book is really going to shine and my issues with the first book fade into the background. Fingers crossed. January 8
Also, browsing through releases coming January 2019, I would like to say that there are a bunch that I am looking forward to. Some honorable mentions are Song of the Dead (Reign of the Fallen #2) by Sarah Glenn Marsh and The Kingdom of Copper (The Daevabad Trilogy #2) by S.A. Chakraborty. Thanks for stopping by and happy reading!
I really like your post! I’m so excited for The Wicked King as well , I can’t wait 😍

Neither can I. I requested an ARC of it but that didn’t pan out. Holly Black has sucked us all in.

It really is a bandwagon at this point. I know, in my head, that I didn’t love The Cruel Prince. I KNOW I didn’t. Doesn’t matter, I’m hooked on the idea of reading The Wicked King. This hype train has people magnetic powers or something. Haha.
