WWW Wednesday – February 6

WWW Wednesday is a meme hosted by Sam at Taking on a World of Words and was formerly hosted by A Daily Rhythm. It is open for anyone to participate, even without a blog you can comment on Sam’s post with your own answers. It is a great way to share what you’ve been reading! All you have to do is answer three questions and share a link to your blog in the comments section of Sam’s blog.

The three Ws are:

What are you currently reading?

What did you recently finish reading?

What do you think you’ll read next?

What are you currently reading?

The last last couple of weeks I have been reading this as audio while I trudge away on the treadmill. I have to say, the story is engrossing, the characters full of life and vibrance, and the setting just as vivid as in the first book. There have been no lulls, no moments where I just wished something would happen to move the story along, and the wonderful story has actually kept me on the treadmill longer as I didn’t want to stop in the middle of a scene. Currently 70% through and loving this book.

What did you recently finish reading?

That last time I did a WWW post this was also in the recently finished section. I haven’t been reading much lately, and that is okay. Life and other desires get in the way and lately I have accepted that I am alright with that. As I mentioned previously, this book was okay but did not live up to expectations.

What do you think you’ll read next?

This book was released on January 29th and I think it will be the next book I decide to pick up. I love a good retelling and I have yet to come across a Beauty and the Beast one that satisfied me. Since this book is getting stellar reviews from people I trust and Kemmerer seems like a genuinely interesting person, I’m hoping that this book will fill the bill.

That is all I have for this week. Have you read any of these? What are your thoughts?
