WWWWednesday

WWW Wednesday is a meme hosted by Sam at Taking on a World of Words and was formerly hosted by A Daily Rhythm. It is open for anyone to participate, even without a blog you can comment on Sam’s post with your own answers. It is a great way to share what you’ve been reading! All you have to do is answer three questions and share a link to your blog in the comments section of Sam’s blog.

The three Ws are:

What are you currently reading?

What did you recently finish reading?

What do you think you’ll read next?

What are you currently reading?

Oh yeah. I got an eARC for this book. To say I was a little excited is an understatement. After starting on it last night I’m about 10% in and so far it is entertaining. Perhaps a little minute detail heavy but it hasn’t been enough to take me out of the story yet. The beginning also has a nicely done recap that doesn’t really feel like a recap so that you aren’t diving in blind. That is something I always appreciate. High hopes for this book!

What did you recently finish reading?

I finished reading this book last week and I must admit, I enjoyed it even more than I thought I would. Granted, my review doesn’t really convey that but I promise, its true! I thought this was a fresh take on the famous Sherlock Holmes stories which was exactly what I was craving. Very satisfied.

What do you think you’ll read next?

This book came in the mail on release day and I must say, I’m very excited. Let’s start with that cover. You can’t tell from the picture but the dragon is actually textured and its scales had a nice shine. And the overall orangish background? Looks even more like fire in person than in this picture. One of the most beautiful covers I have even seen. Not to mention this is written by Samantha Shannon. Something with her name on it makes it a must buy for me and I am immensely excited to read this first book outside of her Bone Season world.

Even as I sit here typing this I keep glancing up at my physical shelves just to looks at Priory. I simply can’t describe to you how absolutely magnificent this cover is in person. Just glorious and I can’t wait to read it. What all are you reading?
