WWW Wednesday | April 24

WWW Wednesday is a meme hosted by Sam at Taking on a World of Words and was formerly hosted by A Daily Rhythm. It is open for anyone to participate, even without a blog you can comment on Sam’s post with your own answers. It is a great way to share what you’ve been reading! All you have to do is answer three questions and share a link to your blog in the comments section of Sam’s blog.

The three Ws are:

What are you currently reading?

What did you recently finish reading?

What do you think you’ll read next?

What are you currently reading?

I am currently reading The Raven’s Tale as an ARC and am just over half through. Admittedly, it isn’t as dark as I had hoped but I am still enjoying it. There is a lot of great detail in this book and you can tell that Winters did a great deal of research into Poe’s life which is wonderful. I’m told that the ending in this is a real winner so I’m certainly looking forward to getting there.

What did you recently finish reading?

Throughout most of April I have been in a terrible reading slump so in an attempt to escape it I picked up a book I’d not yet read from one of my favorite series. This novella looks back at Page when she first joins Jax’s gang and it is interesting reading as she starts coming into her own within the group. Knowing Jax’s motivations and future actions made it an even more entertaining read as I wanted to yell to Page about what she was getting into. Good times.

What do you think you’ll read next?

April has been a slow reading month for me, and that’s okay. Because of that I’m hesitant to set a “reading next” book for this. Instead, here are some books I’m looking forward to reading in the coming weeks.

I’m a little under the weather right now so that is it for this week. I hope you all have the loveliest of days.
