It is open for anyone to participate, even without a blog you can comment on Sam’s post with your own answers. It is a great way to share what you’ve been reading! All you have to do is answer three questions and share a link to your blog in the comments section of Sam’s blog.
The three Ws are:
What are you currently reading?
What did you recently finish reading?
What do you think you’ll read next?
What are you currently reading?
I am reading this book with the Dragons and Tea Book Club and so far, I’m not really impressed. The main character is practically an emotionless shell and, if you have ever met a teenager, they are raging emotion filled hormone sacks. Not to mention the book isn’t follow the rules it has set up. I’m frustrated. It is nice to see non binary and poc nicely represented in a book, I just wish it was in a better book.
What did you recently finish reading?
To put it simply, I did not enjoy this book. I had adored Legendary, the second book in this trilogy, and had high hopes for this conclusion. Instead, this book was a mess. The plot was little more than an afterthought to the raging romances that plagued all the characters and the characters that were actually interesting didn’t get enough time or attention. I still don’t know what happened to my favorite character at the end. It is like he dropped off the face of the planet. Disappointing.
What do you think you’ll read next?
My luck with Kristoff books has been hit or miss in the past but I have to admit, this one looks promising. I have a copy of it ready and waiting on me so as soon as I am done with Dragon Pearl I will be diving right in. Wish me luck. I really want to enjoy this one.

I’ve not had great luck with my reading choices the last month or two so hopefully things will turn around soon. Happy reading, everyone!
I hope you enjoy Aurora Rising!!!💕 I’m dying to know what you think of it, sounds interesting 😊

I’ve been really looking forward to reading it. My luck with Kristoff is very hit or miss but this one sounds like a hit and I love the cover. Fingers crossed!

Oh, shoot. I’m sorry Finale wasn’t a good fit for you. 😦 That’s disappointing.

It really was disappointing. Legendary blew me away so I was really looking forward to it. I’ll still read whatever she publishes next but will definitely open it with lower expectations.

I’ve heard lots of hype about Aurora Rising. I’m nervous. I always have next-book anxiety with authors whose last book I really enjoyed. 🙂
I just finished reading A Sorcery of Thorns by Margaret Rogerson and LOVED IT! Next for me will probably be Two Can Keep a Secret by Karen McManus.

I want to read A Sorcery of Thorns so badly. I loved Rogerson’s debut and can’t wait to gobble this one up. Not to mention the cover is so beautiful! Need it on my shelf.

I’m nervous to start reading Legendary now; I’ve been seeing mixed reviews for Finale. I guess we shall see lol. I also have a copy of Aurora Rising that I REALLY want to read

Legendary was so good. Definitely the best of the trilogy. Tella was so feisty and full of life and determination and I loved it! Wish Finale had continued on in that vein. I hope you enjoy it more than I did. Have considered more than once lowering my rating. I still may, we’ll see.

Ah ok good to know. I have the audio book for both out from my library right now, so I hope to get to Legendary once I finish a few others lol 🙂

Uh oh, your list looks awfully similar to mine. I just got Dragon Pearl and Finale and was planning to read them soon.
I have however recently finished Aurora Rising and very much enjoyed so hopefully you’re luck is changing.

I sure hope my luck is changing! It is so hard for me to not just pick up Aurora Rising and dive in but I know I am not one of those people who can read more than one book at a time. Can’t wait to see what Kristoff and Kaufman have in store!
