WWWWednesday

WWW Wednesday is a meme hosted by Sam at Taking on a World of Words and was formerly hosted by A Daily Rhythm. It is open for anyone to participate, even without a blog you can comment on Sam’s post with your own answers. It is a great way to share what you’ve been reading! All you have to do is answer three questions and share a link to your blog in the comments section of Sam’s blog.

The three Ws are:

What are you currently reading?

What did you recently finish reading?

What do you think you’ll read next?

What are you currently reading?

Timekeeper (Timekeeper #1) by Tara Sim – I had picked this book up on a good Kindle sale some time ago but hadn’t got around to reading it. Something got to nagging at me the other night so I opened it up and am currently just over 50% through. So far I am loving the m/m relationship and the time/magic concept that flows throughout the story. I am, however, getting a little bored of the plot being what seems like strictly romance based as that is not what I was expecting. Guess I will see what the second half brings!

What did you recently finish reading?

Rage (Stormheart #2) by Cora Carmack – When I got an ARC of this I was over the moon and couldn’t wait to dive in so that is exactly what I did. I had loved Roar and was anxious to see what this next installment held. Unfortunately, I found that the story was a little slow moving and lacked any real depth. The book’s saving grace is the cast of characters who are all varied and interesting.

What do you think you’ll read next?

Soul of Stars (Heart of Iron #2) by Ashley Poston – This book released on July 23rd, 2019 (yesterday as of this post) and I am very excited to start on it. I loved the world building in Heart of Iron and Poston set up the end of the first book very nicely to build upon for Soul of Stars, the sequel. Can’t wait to see what is brought to the table for this story!

I’m currently in the process of moving so I don’t anticipate much reading getting done in the coming weeks but hopefully I get through a few things. Namely the traveling book I am currently in possession of and am supposed to be notating. Moving is a little stressful…
