WWW Wednesday is a meme hosted by Sam at Taking on a World of Words and was formerly hosted by A Daily Rhythm. It is open for anyone to participate, even without a blog you can comment on Sam’s post with your own answers. It is a great way to share what you’ve been reading! All you have to do is answer three questions and share a link to your blog in the comments section of Sam’s blog.
The three Ws are:
What are you currently reading?
What did you recently finish reading?
What do you think you’ll read next?
What are you currently reading?

Siege and Storm (The Shadow and Bone Trilogy #2) by Leigh Bardugo – I’m a little over half through this book and, honestly, I’m not enjoying it nearly as much as I did the first one. This second book has a lot more political posturing and that just isn’t something I like to read a lot. Not to mention there is so much Mal and he is garbage and I hate him.
What did you recently finish reading?

Shadow and Bone (The Shadow and Bone Trilogy #1) by Leigh Bardugo – I gave this book five glorious, sparkling stars. It was so nice to truly enjoy a read after my last several reads had been three stars or less. While reading this one I recorded a reading vlog which will be coming up sometime soon if you enjoy that kind of thing. Just to reiterate, intense dislike of Mal. Darkling is entertaining. Need less Mal, more Darkling.
What do you think you’ll read next?

Ruin and Rising (The Shadow and Bone Trilogy #3) by Leigh Bardugo – Bet no one saw that coming, right? I am invested in the series, I need to finish it! Currently I have this book on hold at my local library but it hasn’t come in yet. Hopefully it does before I finish the second book because waiting isn’t something I am very good at.

Admittedly, glancing at some reviews this series tanks as it moves along. I hope I still find it enjoyable because I absolutely adored Shadow and Bone and I don’t want the rest of the series to leave a bad taste in my mouth.
Oh I really like this series!
I’m about to pick up the dragon republic and I’m listening to Romanov!
Enjoy your reading!

I think the second one is probably the weakest in the trilogy, it’s a little too heavy on the relationship angst and there’s nowhere near enough of the Darkling 🙂 It does pick up though and the third book gets things back on track.

I NEED MORE DARKLING! He has been absent almost the whole second book and my angsty heart misses him dearly. Hopefully my hold for the third book comes in soon. Fingers crossed.
