I was trying to think of something to post this Saturday and was having trouble coming up with anything. Luckily, Book Princess Reviews came to the rescue with an original tag! BPR was one of the first blogs I followed when I moved my bookish blog to WordPress years ago and I’ve loved their content from day one so I couldn’t be more excited to share one of their original tags.

Earlier this week I stumbled across the opening lines from a horrible script that the CW had for The Selection series that never came to fruition. It was such utter garbage and being the sucker for total garbage that I am, I picked up the book from the library. It was terrible. I loved it. So I’m going to be picking the second book up from the library asap.
Next 5 Star Read
The Shadows Between Us by Tricia Levenseller comes out on February 25, 2020 and I could not be more excited. The early reviews have me hyped and I adored Levenseller’s Daughter of the Pirate King duology. Feel like I am going to thoroughly enjoy this book.
Next 1 Star Read
If I go into something expecting it to be a 1 star read, I’m not going to read it. Why? Why would I read something I expect to hate?
Next Love Interest (or Character that Seems Really Cool to You)
I 100% expect to adore Alessandra in The Shadows Between Us by Tricia Levenseller. She sounds like she is going to be badass, smart, devious, bloody…my shriveled little heart has no hope against that.
Next Book You’ll Be Buying
Look. Did I absolutely despise the second book in this trilogy? Oh yes, yes I did. Am I going to buy this anyway and read it? Yes, yes I will. The first book in the trilogy showed a lot of promise and even though the second one was, frankly, complete garage I am still going to finish off the series anyway. I’m too far in, may as well, right?
Next Book That Will Leave You with a Book Hangover (and Desperately Wanting a Reread or Next in Series)
Red Hood by Elana K. Arnold sounds like a book that is going to stick in my head for a while. This one is releasing February 25, 2020 and I’m really looking forward to reading it. Her previous book, Damsel, swirled around in my head for quite some time and I don’t see why this one will be any different.
Thanks Sha and Mandy for creating this tag! I enjoyed doing it and hope you lovely folks enjoy it as well.
Tag yourselves. ❤
