WWW Wednesday is a meme hosted by Sam at Taking on a World of Words and was formerly hosted by A Daily Rhythm. It is open for anyone to participate, even without a blog you can comment on Sam’s post with your own answers. It is a great way to share what you’ve been reading! All you have to do is answer three questions and share a link to your blog in the comments section of Sam’s blog.
The three Ws are:
What are you currently reading?
What did you recently finish reading?
What do you think you’ll read next?
What are you currently reading?

An Impossible Imposter (Veronica Speedwell #7) by Deanna Raybourn – I absolutely love the Veronica Speedwell series. Every book I pick up just sucks me in. This one just released on February 15th and, while I’m not very far into it, I just feel excited to pick it up. Independent, fiercely intelligent female lead, mysteries that I can never guess, secondary characters that are vivid and brilliant…just everything about these books hooks me.
Little Thieves (Little Thieves #1) by Margaret Owen – I’ve very nearly finished this book and I have to say, the more I read of it the more I like it. The beginning was a little touch and go for me but the more the main character matures and adapts the more I like her. Watching her grown as a person has been a pleasure. Can’t wait to see how this book wraps up!
What did you recently finish reading?
The Year of the Reaper by Makiia Lucier – This book was completely brilliant. I gave this one a 5/5 and it deserves every star. The characters in this fantasy novel were vivid and just felt so alive! They weren’t these perfect and strong characters that are so often depicted in YA fantasy. No, instead they had baggage that sometimes brought them to their knees and trauma they had to learn to cope with. This book gave me both joy and pain and heartbreak and this quiet contentment at the end. Definitely one of my favorite reads and I can see myself returning to it again and again to reread in the coming years.
What do you think you’ll read next?
Dead Silence by S.A. Barnes – Now, I’m not usually much of a sci-fi or horror reader but this book has just been nagging at me. Something about it is just reaching out, begging me to read it. Who am I to say no? This sci-fi horror in space reminds me of the 2002 movie Ghost Ship that gave me nightmares for weeks! Why do I want to do that to myself again, you ask? Well, who knows but we’ll talk about it once I read it.

I hadn’t done a WWW Wednesday post since 2020 and it was kind of nice just having a quick chat. Maybe I’ll start doing it again from time to time. Anything thought or opinions on the books I just talked about? Let me know!
Happy reading 🖤
I agree with you about Year of the Reaper – loved that book more than I’d expected. Dead Silence has been calling to me, also – it’s on my list.

Year of the Reaper sounds really good! I’ll have to add that to my TBR. I’m reading Dead Silence right now and loving it, so I can’t wait to hear your thoughts!
