WWW Wednesday | March 23

WWW Wednesday is a meme hosted by Sam at Taking on a World of Words and was formerly hosted by A Daily Rhythm. It is open for anyone to participate, even without a blog you can comment on Sam’s post with your own answers. It is a great way to share what you’ve been reading! All you have to do is answer three questions and share a link to your blog in the comments section of Sam’s blog.

The three Ws are:

What are you currently reading?

What did you recently finish reading?

What do you think you’ll read next?

What are you currently reading?

From Blood and Ash (Blood and Ash #1) by Jennifer L Armentrout – I don’t even know how many times I’ve read this. I would imagine I am close to ten. This book has become my go-to comfort read. The story that I turn to when I just need to calm down and have my brain shut up for a little while. Life has me feeling a little overwhelmed and scattered right now so of course I picked it up again. Thats the point of a comfort read. Anyway, new adult fantasy romance FTW.

What did you recently finish reading?

The War of Two Queens (Blood and Ash #4) by Jennifer L Armentrout – This should come as a surprise to absolutely no one. I was going to put off reading this new release as I have a lot going on right now and really didn’t have the brain space for it but someone said “controversial threesome” and I said, “Hell yeah, I’m in.” This may be the best book in the series so far. I’m undecided as I absolutely love Kingdom of Flesh and Fire but perhaps it is a tie. I don’t know. I only know that I need more Kieran in my life. Please and thank you.

What do you think you’ll read next?

The Bone Orchard by Sara A. Mueller – I am very much a mood reader so who knows what I will actually pick up next but, right now, this one has my attention. There are so many words in the description for this book that reach out and slap me in the face. This adult gothic mystery fantasy with a side of horror (I told you, ALL OF THE WORDS describing this caught my interest) was just released on March 22 and my copy is calling to me.

Is anyone else feeling really overwhelmed with life right now? I just needed a comfort read to try to get my brain back together but maybe soon I’ll have the head space for some new fantasy.

What book has your attention?

Happy reading! 🖤
