I have been blogging here at Literary Weaponry for six years now. It’s been a good six years, with ups and downs, and has been a satisfying creative outlet for me. I’ve enjoyed sharing my love of books and stories with all of you and have appreciated every like and comment and interaction I have received.
That being said, blogging does not offer the same fulfillment it once did. It no longer feels like an outlet for a passion. It has begun feeling like a job I need to keep up with and a social space I need to stay relevant in. That isn’t why I started this. I wanted to share my passion for reading. That passion, too, has fizzled.
As of right now, I have previously scheduled posts up until May 25th but I don’t know what is going to happen after that.
I do want to thank you all for your support and your shared love of reading. But, for right now, it is time for me to step away for a while. I need to re-evaluate my life.
Again, thank you all, and happy reading. 🖤
I took a six-month break after four years. I’m back but I don’t know how things will go on. So take all the time you need. Nobody will judge you. Blogging is supposed to be fun. It shouldn’t be adding pressure on you!

I hope the hiatus helps spark that passion again, or helps you find other things to feel passionately about. INonetheless, it’s been a joy to read your posts!
